Galway manager Henry Shefflin has named his side for tomorrow evening’s crunch Allianz Hurling League encounter against Cork at Pairc Ui Chaoimh (throw-in 7pm).

After last weekend’s surprise loss to Wexford, the Tribesmen bring Eanna Murphy into their goal while Loughrea’s Tiernan Killeen starts at right half-back and Johnny Coen is named at centre-field.

In attack, Jack Hastings is named at number 12 and Conor Whelan starts at full-forward while teenager Gavin Lee, who shone for Athenry during Monday night’s All-Ireland Croke Cup quarter-final, lines out at left corner-forward.

Darach Fahy, Gearoid McInerney, Joseph Cooney, Cianan Fahy, Kevin Cooney and John Fleming all miss out on starting berths after last Sunday’s six-point loss to the Slaneysiders.
