Manager Dessie Farrell will be back on sideline duty with the Dublin senior footballers for the first time since last December's All-Ireland six-in-a-row success when they play Wexford in the Leinster quarter-final this afternoon.

A three-month ban handed down to the Na Fianna man for a Covid-19 breaching training session expired on Thursday.

The Dubs will begin their bid for a record eleventh consecutive provincial title at Chadwicks Wexford Park.

For the trip to the sunny south east, Farrell has made two changes from last month's Allianz League win over Donegal.

Tom Lahiff and Robert McDaid replace Eoin Murchan and Peadar O Cofaigh Byrne, as goalkeeper Evan Comerford deputises in Stephen Cluxton's absence.

Dublin (Leinster SFC v Wexford): Evan Comerford; Michael Fitzsimons, David Byrne, Sean MacMahon; Tom Lahiff, Brian Howard, Robert McDaid; Brian Fenton, James McCarthy; Paddy Small, Con O'Callaghan, Niall Scully; Colm Basquel, Ciaran Kilkenny, Cormac Costello.
