It didn’t take long for David Clifford to lay down a marker for Kerry against Roscommon this evening.
The Footballer of the Year had the ball in the back of the Rossies’ net a little after four minutes of sixth round Allianz Football League clash at Austin Stack Park in Tralee, giving the home side an early 1-1 to 0-0 lead.
The strike (see it below) marked Clifford’s 21st goal for the Kingdom in 52 league and championship apperances.
