Ireland's World Boxing champion Lisa O'Rourke will be a special guest at today's Connacht SFC final between Galway and Roscommon.
Connacht GAA confirmed that the the 20-year-old from Castlerea will be introduced to the crowd at Pearse Stadium.
O'Rourke made history at the IBA Women's World Boxing Championships in Turkey earlier this month when winning the 70kg final against Mozambique’s Helena Alcinda Panguana.
It was a memorable day for Irish sport, with Louth's Amy Broadhurst winning the 60-63kg final beforehand.
O'Rourke is a member of the Roscommon ladies senior football squad that captured a first Lidl NFL Division 3 title since 2009 this year.
