Meath senior footballer Jordan Morris' request to transfer from Nobber to Kingscourt Stars in Cavan has been approved.
The 2017 Meath Young Footballer of the Year, who marked his inter-county senior championship debut with an impressive 3-4 against Wicklow two years ago, played a key role as Nobber claimed the Meath IFC title back in 2019, but has decided to switch his allegiance to Kingscourt, a neighbouring club on the border between the counties.
Morris began his football career at juvenile level with the Stars and is currently residing in Kingscourt.
The news is a major blow to Nobber who have since returned to the intermediate ranks.
