The CCCC are due to meet again tomorrow to decide on what disciplinary action to take against Armagh and Galway in the wake of last Sunday's brawl at Croke Park.

GAA disciplinary chiefs met yesterday to begin their investigation into the violent scenes which marred the All-Ireland SFC quarter-final, and are believed to have requested more information from referee David Coldrick after pouring over his report.

Injured Armagh panellist Tiernan Kelly is expected to be hit with a lengthy ban after he appeared to eye-gouge Galway's Comer during the melee, while one-match bans are likely to be proposed for Galway captain Sean Kelly and his Armagh counterpart Aidan Nugent after they were both issued with straight red cards after the brawl, which erupted at the end of normal time.

However, Galway will almost certainly appeal any proposed suspension for their captain in a bid to have him available for Saturday week's All-Ireland SFC semi-final against Derry.
