New Offaly jersey without iconic sponsor to debut this weekend

Glenisk replace Carroll's as main sponsors of Offaly GAA.

The Offaly minor footballers will be the first team from the county in 30 years to wear a jersey without the iconic Carroll’s of Tullamore logo this weekend.

Instead, a newly-designed jersey bearing the logo of Glenisk, who have replaced Carroll’s as main sponsors of Offaly GAA, will make its debut when the Faithful youngsters take on Kildare in the first round of the Leinster MFC at O'Connor Park on Saturday at 12 noon.

Carroll's three-decade sponsorship of Offaly GAA coincided with some great days for the county, including the 1994 and '98 All-Ireland SHC wins, the 1997 Leinster SFC triumph, the 1998 National Football League victory and last year's sensational All-Ireland U20FC success.
