Armagh All-Ireland winner Enda McNulty hailed the fight, mindset and determination of a Down U13 footballer as “an inspiration” after seeing a photo of him tackling an opponent in a recent game.
The superb shot (below) shows the diminutive Newry Bosco player reaching out for the ball which is in the grasp of his much larger Ballyholland opponent during the Down U13 football championship final.
McNulty, who is a Sports Psychologist, was hugely impressed by the young man’s grit and, posting on Twitter, offered to send him “a token to acknowledge his mindset and fight” on behalf of his company McNulty Performance.
TweetThe fight, the mindset, the determination of this young Newry Bosco player is an inspiration. If anyone knows who the young boy is please let us know.We would like to send him a token to acknowledge his mindset and fight.. #commit @officialgaa @officialdowngaa pic.twitter.com/hU8nH2QjYa
