Well done, controlled the game. Ray Galligan is a great addition in nets. Kickouts are excellent, very comfortable under the high ball (bar the error in first half) and communicates well with the defence.

A strong bench too, which is missing McDermott and Mclaughlin. Cavan will have learned a lot from the League final defeat to Tyrone. It should be an interesting Semi final

Great to win today BUT we have a lot of work to do before we play Tyrone.
Far too much kick and hope today when we had players running on the shoulder or in a better position to take a score. 11 wides. Mackey and Geroid responsible for a lot of them. Far too many fumbles and giving away possession too.
Very soft penalty given against us too today.

Happy with the win but much work to do.

These things need to be worked on.

I hope you don't lol, if you do turn Tyrone over, you'll be the first team to do so this year, though that said we haven't played a lot in terems of opposition so far.
Its not impossible but really is Cavan at that level yet? I think my county is a top 5 team in Ireland, up there with Dublin, Mayo, Monaghan, Kerry. If you do win it will be a major upset but certainly not impossible.

Leicester City springs to mind casmckelly one can dream a dream and they do come on your side sometimes. Yes Tyrone are a good team it would be nice to beat them but it's not the end of the world if we don't, they are one of the favorites to lift Sam this year after all.
Mr Hyland is the second longest serving manager alongside your man Mr Harte who has the winning experiences so yes a big ask from Cavan but let's see what happens. A few tweeks here and there and there might be an upset on the cards.

Great to get the win but don't lets get ahead of ourselves. Stefan Campbell did a lot of harm with not a lot of good ball - surprised they didn't move Rory onto him. Killian Clarke seems to lose concentration at times and then gives away silly frees - can't do this in the full-back line against better opposition. Ciaran Brady must wonder what he needs to do to start. Argue was disappointing again - never got going.

Armagh were very poor. Kernan should have had a black/red card for his attempt to injure Gearoid from behind at the kickout - blatant and showed how Armagh thought what they needed to do to win the game. Should be a panel to look at these incidents and apply retrospective bans. McGeeney was some player but is no manager.

Had the penalty gone in it would have given us a good indication of where this team is but hopefully they would have been able to stand up like the Meath game.

Tyrone will be a much sterner test.

I didn't see enough hunger in the Armagh team. They might have got back to 3 had they scored but Cavan looked like they could go up a gear if needed to be.

No Jamie Clarke, Kevin Dyas, Caolan Rafferty, Stephen Harold, and Aaron Kernan retired. They all played big roles when Armagh beat Cavan in 2014.
