Cavan Club Championship 2019

I can see why 25 leitrim players would quit, ibmean they only got out of div4 for 1st time in decades and got to play in croke park in a final. I know as a Div4 team they should have hammered Div1 and super 8 team roscommon alright.

Stick to your living room collecting scores and posting them on Facebook good lad.

yes Arva 2-12 from play and one free the man in the middle gave them nothing sad to say but hey they won and deserved their win.

Replying To PatTheDandy:  "Intermediate C'ship Round 3 Predictions:

Belturbet v Swanlinbar - Belturbet by 7
Laragh United v Bailieborough - Laragh by 3
Arva v Ballyhaise - Ballyhaise by 5
Butlersbridge v Killeshandra - Bridge by 3
Cornafean v Drumlane - Draw
Drumgoon v Ballinagh - Ballinagh by 5
Ballymachugh v Cuchulainns - Cuchulainns by 11

Junior

Kildallan v Drung - Drung by 5
Killinkere v Knockbride - Killinkere by 5
Corlough v Denn - Denn by 20
Templeport v Shannon Gaels - Templeport by 4
Drumalee v Kill Shamrocks - Drumalee by 9
Redhills v Mountnugent - Mountugent by 1
Munterconnacht v Maghera - Munterconnaught by 19"
11 out of 14 right at the weekend and a few fairly accurate score predictions to boot. Not bad.

Not like me to get a Junior result wrong but a good win for Shannon Gaels. Arvagh also rallying well. Ballyhaise now look like they are not going to challenge for the cup IMO but think they might beat the Cucu's.

I would be making Butlersbridge the tentative favorites for the Intermediate, with Killinkere the clear fav's in the Junior.

Pressure on Knockbride all of a sudden now against Drumalee. Looks like a defeat might put them out. The teams hammering Corlough and Maghera would appear to be a bit unfair on some teams as it appears that being lucky enough to get one of them can put a team through on 4 points.

Next weeks prediction's below:

IFC Round 4:
Ballymachugh v Drumlane - Drumlane by 7
Swanlinbar v Bailieborough - Swad by 1
Ballyhaise v Cuchulainns - Ballyhaise by 1
Butlersbridge v Arva - Butlersbridge by 2
Laragh United v Cornafean - Laragh by 6
Drumgoon v Killeshandra - Drumgoon by 2
Belturbet v Ramor United - Belturbet by 10

IFC Round 5:
Ramor United v Ballinagh - Ballinagh by 13
Ballymachugh v Swanlinbar - Swad by 1

JFC Round 4:

Killinkere v Munterconnacht - Killinkere by 9
Kill Shamrocks v Mountnugent - Mountnugent by 9
Redhills v Denn - Denn by 4
Maghera v Kildallan - Kildallan by 17
Knockbride v Drumalee - Knockbride by 3
Drung v Shannon Gaels - Shannon Gaels by 1
Templeport v Corlough - Templeport by 20

Intermediate is so open that any team that makes the knockout stages is in with a shout, Ballyhaise v Cucu's a big game to see if last years finalists stay in the race.

I think Laragh will win it.
I'd say in the knockout stages them and Ballinagh might have a bit more balance than everyone else.

Butlersbridge looked a class act although killeshandra were shocking poor was very surprised with them, Shane Reilly a big miss. Seen Ballinagh game too they were very impressive, and likewise drumgoon were shocking , division 3 standards , how did they beat laragh? Also at drumlane Cornafean game then, Ryan Connolly kicked 12 out of 13 points, 10 frees both feet of the ground and long distance too was a joy to watch. Cornafean didn't look that dangerous up front , threw the game away with frees, a different ref who would have let things go a bit more and Cornafean would have won. Drumlane will make quater final now , a good free taker is worth wonders to a team , cavan need someone like him on Free's

Big weekend coming up in the Cully's Craft Bakery Junior Football Championship. Here are my predictions before the Quarter-Final line up is complete.

Round 4

Maghera V Kildallan - Nothing to play for here for either side. Killdallan by 7.

Killinkere v Munterconnaught - Munterconnaught with a small outside chance if they produced a shock win but going for Killinkere by 8.

Redhills v Denn - Nice draw for both teams as they are both through already. Denn by 6.

Drung v Shannon Gaels - Again another nice draw for each side as they are more or less both through. Shannon Gaels by 2.

Kill Shamrocks v Mountnugent - Kill would need a miracle to make a Quarter-Final spot along with a big win. Mountnugent by 4.

Knockbride V Drumalee - Probably one of the more interesting games as a draw would suit both teams to go through where as a defeat for either could see them go out. A win would definitely be enough for either side. Close game I reckon with lots at stake. Knockbride by 2.

Templeport V Corlough - Have heard this will be Corlough's final game as a club as they are disbanding. Word has it they could actually be joining up with Templeport from next year. Templeport by 15.

Depending on the quality of the opposition then for they lost to Arva last and Kingscourt the business on Killygarry. Looks like Killygarry will not be in the 1/4 final stage if Shercock get a result this weekend.

On the pull down menu select under club the senior football championship. There you have the fixtures and results. The table is at the top of results section.

There is a full round of fixtures to be played so please learn how the championship structure works.

I believed the 1/4 final stage stage was the next draw tomorrow night for the senior championship correct me if I am wrong. I am willing to learn off course. Killygarry as it stands are in the top 8 after Shercock lost but had they won it would have been a different story. To be honest I am glad I am wrong and there is one more round before the top eight are decided to give the table a chance to change. I cannot see Cootehill take anything from the Gaels today but you never know. Lavey are beating Mullahoran at the moment so the bottom will change if Lavey win???

You are wrong and when you posted this the Gaels match had been over with a result for them. Do you not know what times the games are at. Maybe get out of the house and follow a few games

I was at another game that started at one so unless I split myself in two it was impossible for me to be at both games like you. I might go and watch Crosserlough V Ramor at 7 tonight depends on how I feel health wise. Introduce yourself I will be over on the terrace should I go.
