Brennan, Andy

Andy Brennan of Antiduff, Ballyhaise was well-known during his time as a teacher and principal at Lacken School. The Donegal native was heavily involved in the GAA, starting up Scor na nOg and Scor Sinsear in Ballintemple in the winter of 1973/74, with many Ulster titles coming to Cavan. One of Andrew's great passions was gaelic football and his four sons played for Lacken at all grades. He also managed Lacken to a Division One final and a championship semi-final. He also brought together a minor amalgamation of Lacken, Ballinagh and Ballymachugh in 1971, which went on to win the minor crown.
