Ann's death at the age of 66 last May caused much sadness around the parish and way beyond.

Born Ann Baxter, Killeen, Ardagh, Ann was a very outgoing person from her very early days.

She was an outstanding camogie player, having played with the Cavan county team when she was working in Killeshandra.

She continued to play for her native Ardagh and in later years with her adopted parish of Kenagh.

Ann was a great family person, a devoted wife and mother and in recent years a very devoted granny to Adam and Millie who tragically lost their mother at a very early age.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Tommy, sons Kevin, Brendan, Leo; daughters Helen and Carmel; grandchildren, brothers and sisters, sons in law, daughters in law, other relations and friends.

A guard of honour was presented through the village by Kenagh GAA club.
