Killinkere lost one of the most active members in its community in April with the passing of Kathleen McGovern, Kilmore, Virginia. Kathleen made her home in Kilmore after marrying her husband Tom Joe . She helped to maintain the Leisure Centre in Killinkere for more than 30 years and was renowned for her cheerfulness and great faith. She is survived and sadly missed by her husband, children and extended family and friends.
