St Patrick's GFC, Arva was saddened to learn of the death of Rose Maguire (née McConaghy), Drumhaldry on Saturday, September 30th, 2017. Rose was a keen supporter of the local GAA club and attended most of their matches, home and away. She was also deeply involved in numerous other community organisations, including St Vincent de Paul Society, the Apostolic Society, Arva Agricultural Show and Arva Active Age Club. A Guard of Honour was formed at her funeral by members of St Patrick's GAA Club, Arva Show Society and Arva Active Age.
