There was sadness and shock across the Killann-Shercock community and further afield following the sudden death on Tuesday, September 12th of popular farmer and carpenter Thomas McIntyre, Killcrossduff, at the age of 52. A devoted family man, Thomas had close ties to the local GAA club and Sillan Vintage Club, both of whom contributed to the Guard of Honour at his funeral.
