From Portanure, Loch Gowna, Francis Hartin passed away on Saturday, April 15th, 2017. A member of the farming community, Francis had a keen interest in the GAA and he represented Gowna on the field of play for many's a year. He was father of Youth Board committee member Fergal and Gowna club secretary Gavin. Guards of Honour were provided by members of Gowna GAA Club and Fianna Fail.
