There was widespread sadness and disbelief throughout Kingscourt and its environs when word spread of the sudden death of local man Martin O'Reilly at his home in Sunnyside, Queens, New York on Saturday, March 4th, 2017. Martin, who was only in his 39th year, was a larger than life figure and an extremely popular young family man - husband to Alison, father to Rebecca, son to Patrick and Anne, brother to Debbie, Jimmy, Bobby and Terry. Terry O'Reilly is a senior footballer with Kingscourt Stars.
