From Dennbawn Lower, Carrickaboy, Rose Galligan (née Dowd) passed away on Sunday, February 12th, 2017. Originally from Killyconnon, Lower Lavey, Rose married the late Tommy Galligan in 1961 and the pair would raise a family of nine children. The family enjoy strong ties with Denn football and camogie clubs and Rose was a regular figure along the sideline cheering the team on as well as helping out in any other way she could, including washing and mending jerseys.
