Cleary reveals Cork line-up for season opener against Clare

Cork football manager John Cleary has named his team for tomorrow evening’s season opener against Clare in the McGrath Cup.

Mallow’s Mattie Taylor captains the side from left corner-back while Darragh Cashman of Mill Street is set for his first competitive start for the Rebels at right half-back.

Brian O’Driscoll and Colm O’Callaghan start at centre-field, with Conor Corbett leading the attack from full-forward where he’ll be flanked by David Buckley and Blake Murphy.

Ian Maguire, Damien Gore and Ruairi Deane are included on the Leesiders’ bench.

Throw-in at Clarecastle GAA Astro Pitch is at 7pm, with the game’s original venue at Cooraclare pitch deemed unplayable.
