Two-time All-Ireland SFC winner Vikki Wall looks set to join the Irish women's Rugby Sevens squad.
There are multiple reports that the Meath ladies star is close to agreeing a deal with the IRFU and sign a contract ahead of next year’s Olympic Games.
Wall joined AFLW side North Melbourne in 2022 and played in every game in her first season before returning home to line-out for Meath in their All-Ireland senior championship defence this summer, which ended in defeat to Kerry at the quarter-final stage last Saturday.
The 25-year-old is set to leave North Melbourne in favour of representing her country in the Rugby Sevens at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
