Waterford legend Ken McGrath is set to be appointed as the Deise County’s new U20 hurling manager.
The Mount Sion clubman won four Munster senior hurling titles, three All-Stars and a National League crown before calling time on his inter-county playing days in 2011.
A couple of McGrath’s former Waterford team mates are set to join him on the sidelines next season, including Dan Shanahan and former Deise captain Kevin Moran.
Ballygunner man Andy Moloney will also be part of the backroom team, having previously coached Ballyhale Shamrocks and also won a Munster crown as a player with the Gunners.
Their names will be put forward for ratification on a two-year term at the next meeting of the Waterford county board.
TweetWaterford GAA are delighted to announce that the following U-20 Hurling Team Mgmt will be recommended for ratification for a 2 yr term at the next meeting of the County Board.
