With the start of the new school year just days away, the draw has been made for the 2026/27 Harty Cup.

The blue riband Munster U19 ‘A’ Post Primary Schools Hurling Championship features 16 teams, with holders Nenagh CBS drawn in Group 2 alongside Gaelcholáiste Mhuire an Mhainistir Thuaidh, Ardscoil Rís and Midleton CBS. Traditional giants and last year’s runners-up St Flannan’s College, Ennis are joined in Group 3 by Christian Brothers College Cork, Our Lady’s Secondary School Templemore and John The Baptist Community School, Hospital. 

Last year’s Munster ‘B’ champions Tralee CBS return to the top tier where they can look forward to group games against Thurles CBS, De La Salle Waterford and Cashel Community School.

The Harty Cup will throw in in the middle of October.

Harty Cup 2026/27 draw:

Group 1: Thurles CBS, De La Salle Waterford, Tralee CBS, Cashel Community School.

Group 2: Nenagh CBS, Gaelcholáiste Mhuire an Mhainistir Thuaidh, Ardscoil Rís, Midleton CBS.

Group 3: St Flannan’s College Ennis, Christian Brothers College Cork, Our Lady’s Secondary School Templemore, John The Baptist Community School Hospital.

Group 4: St Joseph’s Secondary School Tulla, St Colman’s College Fermoy, Blackwater Community School Lismore, Castletroy College.
