The Kilkenny team bus was issued with a parking ticket before last Saturday's Allianz Hurling League Division 1A victory over Wexford.

The Wexford People is reporting that the team bus received the ticket from a traffic warden at Whites Hotel in the centre of Wexford before the game in nearby Chadwicks Wexford Park.

Driver Jimmy Tone explained how he was unable to park the bus fully in the set down area in front of the hotel due to the presence of bollards. It meant the players had to disembark while the rear of the bus was still out on the street.

"The traffic warden told me to move and I just said, 'give me two or three minutes until we get everything closed up,'... With that, he started taking down the details on the machine," Jimmy said.
