Rathmore roar into Kerry Club SFC decider

Rathmore eased through to the 2026 Kerry senior club football championship final courtesy of a 2-21 to 0-11 dismantling of Milltown/Castlemaine at Legion.

Aidan O’Mahony’s in-form charges took Saturday evening’s semi-final by the scruff of the neck from the off to power into a commanding twelve-point interval advantage, 1-12 to 0-3.

Fionn Murphy delivered the dominant East Kerry men’s first goal two minutes from the break, while Paul Murphy, Ciaran Collins and Cathal Ryan all slotted first-half two-pointers.

In the 53rd minute, Mark Reen added the second major and he also rounded off the scoring as his side – beaten at the penultimate stage of both club and county championship last year - advanced beyond the semi-final glass ceiling.

The identity of Rathmore’s final opponents will be learned when holders Dr Crokes face Na Gaeil in a repeat of last year’s decider at Castleisland on Sunday afternoon.
