This afternoon’s Dr McKenna Cup first round clash between Donegal and Derry in Letterkenny has been postponed over safety concerns.
The pre-season derby encounter had been scheduled to throw-in at 1.30pm, but the freezing weather conditions have made unsafe to travel to the ground at O’Donnell Park.
Leinster GAA has announced this morning that O’Connor Park in Tullamore is unplayable, meaning that this afternoon’s Walsh Cup meeting between Offaly and Antrim will not go ahead.
Meanwhile, one of the four Walsh Cup first round games currently on the schedule between Westmeath and Kilkenny has been pushed back from 1.30pm to 2.30pm at The Downs and the Connacht FBD League FL clash between Roscommon and Leitrim has been moved from Elphin to the Connacht Centre of Excellence in Bekan with a new throw-in time of 2.30pm.
