The Mayo senior footballers are due to meet with management for the first time since last June's All-Ireland SFC preliminary quarter-final exit at the hands of Derry.

As a review into this year's performances nears completion, the Western People is reporting that manager Kevin McStay has invited his players to a lunch on Saturday. It's believed that some of the players expressed dissatisfaction with certain aspects of the management's approach in questionnaires they were asked to submit as part of the review.

It comes after a claim was made at a recent county board meeting that players and supporters are ‘not happy’ with the senior football management.
