All-Ireland champions Limerick will take on Cork in the semi-finals of this year’s Munster senior hurling championship.
This morning’s draw for the inaugural Mick Mackey Cup has thrown up what is a mouth-watering clash down south between the holders and the Rebels this summer.
Clare are set to take on last year’s beaten All-Ireland finalists Waterford in the quarter-finals of the province, with the winners playing Liam Sheedy’s Tipperary side for a place in the Munster final.
Times, dates and venues for the above games will be confirmed in due course, with the losing sides from each game to be given a second chance in the hurling championship qualifiers.
