Driver comes forward after damage caused to Wexford GAA pitch

The driver of a Suzuki jeep who left track marks on a training pitch in Wexford has come forward.
St Brigid’s, Blackwater GAA captured the incident - which occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning - on CCTV. The club shared images of the vehicle and the damage online, and had threatened to report the matter to the Gardaí before the person made themselves known.
“The person irresponsible has come forward and the matter will be resolved. We are satisfied with the outcome and consider the matter closed. Thank you for everyone who contacted us,” a club statement read.
