Holders Omagh CBS and Mercy Mounthawk, Tralee will contest the Hogan Cup (All-Ireland Post Primary Schools Senior 'A' Football Championship) final next month following wins over St Gerald’s, Castlebar and Naas CBS respectively.

In the first semi-final at Bansha on Saturday, a 1-3 scoring burst before half-time propelled Mercy Mounthawk to a 1-15 to 1-10 victory over Naas. Trailing by four points, 0-5 to 1-6, the Corn Ui Mhuirí champions suddenly came to life, with a Noah Townsend goal helping to turn things around.

At Ballyshannon yesterday, Omagh CBS were comfortable 1-14 to 0-9 winners over St Gerald's.

Paidi Dillon scored the only goal late in the first half, while three points each from Liam Óg Mossey and Charlie Donnelly eased the MacRory Cup winners to back-to-back final appearances.
