SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh will host the Republic of Ireland's final UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 qualifier against France on July 16.

It comes after the GAA's Central Council and Management Committee gave the FAI permission to stage the game at the redeveloped Cork venue as the Aviva Stadium and Tallaght Stadium in Dublin are both expected to be unavailable.

The Aviva will be undergoing pitch repairs after staging Pink and Taylor Swift concerts, while Shamrock Rovers will be using Tallaght Stadium if the second leg of their Champions League first qualifying round tie is at home.

There is also speculation that SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh could host pre-season friendlies involving Cork City and English clubs this summer.
