Amy O’Connor received the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship final Player of the Match Award following her sensational performance against Waterford.
The Cork captain scored 3-7 in front of a record attendance of 30,191, including a three-minute hat-trick as the Rebels captured the O'Duffy Cup for a 29th time and first since 2018.
“I didn’t realise I had scored a hat trick until someone said it to me after the match, which is probably a good thing because we were so focused on the next ball, the next pass whatever it might be,” she said.
A homecoming celebration for the All-Ireland champions will take place in Cork City later, with the team due to arrive back into Kent Station at approximately 6.10pm.
