Mark Coleman will captain Cork’s senior hurlers for the 2022 season.
The 24-year-old from Blarney succeeds Patrick Horgan in the role, with the Rebel County’s all-time top scorer having held the captaincy for the past two seasons and also having served in the role in 2012.
It’s also been confirmed that Inniscarra's Seán O'Donoghue will serve as vice-captain of the Leesiders next season.
Having lined-out with Cork at centre-back for the past two seasons, Coleman has won IHC honours with Blarney as well as two Fitzgibbon Cup titles with UCC.
