Sincere sympathy is extended to Martina Young Drumgoon, on the death of her father Jim O'Reilly Railway Road Killeshandra.

Mrs Eileen Reilly, Drumkilrooske, Killeshandra  who died last week was in her 90's and was one of the oldest residents in the area. Well done this time  to Jockey Jack Hogan from Drumcrow who recently  rode his first winner under National Hunt Rules when winning a big race at a point to point meeting in Nenagh, Co. CLUB NOTES

9-a-side Victory...Well done to the Cornafean ladies who kicked off their 2018 campaign on Sunday last with a good victory over St. Killians - Killinkere/Cuchullains on a scoreline of Reds 4-9 to St. Killians 2-9.  We wish the girls well in the 9-a-side competition.

Well done Aine..Congratulations to Aine Brady who played corner back on the winning Loreto team as they comprehensively beat Our Lady's from Castleblayney in the Ulster Schools Final played in Garvaghy Co Tyrone recently.

Continued good luck to Amy Wharton and Aoife Miney who are currently part of the Cavan ladies Senior squad.  The girls have got off to a good start in 2018 with victory over Laois and a draw with Armagh but face tough games over the following weeks against Tipperary, Waterford, Clare and Tyrone.  We wish the girls well.

Well done to Jack Wharton and the Cavan lads as they recorded a good victory over Louth in Breffni Park on Saturday night.  Next up for Cavan is a tough test against Meath in Breffni on this weekend and we wish them well.
