Is there any truth in the talk of the main seated stand in Kingspan Breffni being fully covered in the near future? It would be a serious job if done. Has to be the best Grounds in Ulster right now and with funding to redevelop further would be the best placed for Ulster finals? With big plans for the Polo Grounds development it looks like Kingspan Breffni is going to be a flagship ground in the country.

Breffni does need the roof extended alright and it should be done.

Breffni is a brilliant ground and it's great to hear that the plans for a new stand are there. The terrace behind the goal is also a great place for watching a game with the height it goes back.
One thing that I have always thought when I am in Breffni car park is that it would be a great initiative to build a path from The Royal School to the car park and allow the students to use the facilities for PE. Seems a shame to be a field away and not be able to use some of the facilities and would be a progressive and potentially beneficial step for Cavan gaa.

The new development is going to include the school and be off benefit to the whole county It will be similar to the peace link in Clones which is a Savage spot.

Tomsmith here
Indeed Terry Coyle park the home of Cavan Gaels is only a field or two away at the back of the Royal and Prior . It would be lovely to see Cavan Gaels warming up on the Terry Coyle field and run on to Breffni Park via Royal and Prior school for a senior County final.

It's very exposed with no covered roof either side of the main stand.

You could do with doing up that tin shed of a stand you have in Terry Coyle.
