Castlerahan's Fergal Flanagan
Cavan U21s
Best of luck to Fergal Reilly, Enda Flanagan and the rest of the Cavan U21 team and their management for Wednesday night's Ulster semi-final v Monaghan in the Athletic Grounds in Armagh. Throw-in is at 8pm.

Annual draw
​The March draw was held on Monday night last. Early bird draw: €300 Michael Callaghan; €200 Brona Mackey. Main draw: €500 Sean Keogan, Crosskeys; €300 Evelyn McGovern, Carrickavee; €200 Brian Slowey, Derrylurgan. 10 prizes of €100 each to the following: Evelyn Slowey, Derrylurgan; John Farrelly, Eighter; Philip Reilly, Lisgrey House; John Flynn, Clonkeefy; Jimmy Smith, Crosserlough; Christopher Tierney, Derrylea; Ciara Flanagan, Oldcastle Road; Raymond Slowey, Lishenry; Ella Boylan, Barconey; Mary Lovett, Parkview. Thanks to everybody who has supported our draw. The next draw takes place at April's club executive meeting - date TBC.

Blotto
Thanks to everybody who supported the club's blotto over the last four weeks. Numbers drawn for 24 March were 7, 22, 25 & 29. There was no jackpot winner. Five prizes of €30 each to the following: Marie Boylan, Rassan Road; Sean & Mary Boylan c/o Crowe's Corner; Kathleen Reilly, Derrylea; Maura Plunkett, Lismacanican and Sandra Wearen, Lismeen.

Blood Donor Clinic
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service has teamed up with the GAA to promote the donation of blood amongst the GAA's members. There will be a blood donation clinic in St. Joseph's Hall on Thursday, 10th April from 5 to 8.30pm.

Senior
Our senior team travelled to Gowna on Sunday afternoon last for round 4 of the Breffni League. In what was a tempestuous match which saw two black cards and five yellow cards being doled out, it finished in a draw - a Damien Fitzpatrick point levelling the sides with just two minutes remaining after Paul Smith had edged Castlerahan in front three minutes previously. Full-time: Castlerahan 0-14 to 1-11 Gowna.

The next round of the Breffni League takes place on Saturday, 5th April when we host Drumgoon in Fay Park. Throw-in at 5pm.

Minor
​Our minor team commences their Division 1 league campaign at home to West Cavan Gaels (Shannon Gaels, Swanlinbar, Kildallan & Corlough) on Tuesday evening at 6.30pm in Fay Park. Best of luck to all involved.

U12
Castlerahan will travel to Killygarry for their first Group E Spring league game at 6.45pm on Friday evening.

​Castlerahan-Denn ladies
U12
The U12 girls got their league campaign off to a good start with a 5-03 to 1-02 win over neighbours Lavey last Monday evening in Fay Park. Round 2 of the league v Ballyhaise throws in at 6.45pm on Tuesday evening. The game is being played in Ballyhaise.

U14
The U14 league commences in early May.

U16
Our U16s play Crosserlough on Monday at 6.45pm in Fay Park in the third round of the league. Round 1 of this league was postponed with the girls being defeated in Round 2 in an away game to Drumlane.

Seniors
The senior ladies recorded another win on Sunday last in the Adult 9-a-side league with a comprehensive victory over Shercock. Full-time scoreline was 6-13 to 1-05. The last round of the 9-a-side competition takes place next weekend with an away game to Killeshandra, which is currently fixed for next Saturday, 5th April.The ladies are in a prominent position to secure a semi-final spot in this league with semi finals scheduled for April 20th.

Fundraising Sponsored Walk
A sponsored walk due to take place on St.Patrick's Day was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances but will take place on Saturday, 12th April at 12 noon in Fay Park. All juvenile and senior players have sponsorship cards and the ladies club kindly ask for support for their fundraising efforts with all donations being greatly appreciated. All fundraising money generated is used to run the ladies club for the year; affiliation fees, payment of referees etc.
