New Management
The club are delighted to announce legendary club player Jason O'Reilly as our new manager for the 2014 season. Jason who has done a tremendous job with Lacken for the last two seasons will bring a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to the job and is held in very high esteem in the club. Everyone associated with the club wishes Jason and his selectors the very best of luck in their new positions.

Player of the Year Awards
Congratulations to John Cahill who was named 2013 Young Player of the Year and Peter Shannon who was named Senior Player of the Year at the club AGM on Saturday night last.

Thanks
The club wishes to thank the previous management team of John Joe Stewart and his selectors Gareth McDonald and Ollie Donohoe for all the time and dedication they put into training the team in the 2013 season.

Club Members Draw Winners
Congratulations to Michael and Maureen Dennehy proprietors of the Oak View Nursing Home who won the €10,000 Club Members Draw which took place in Morgan's on Saturday night last. Congrats also to Canon PJ. Corrigan who won the €1,000 club prize.

Ladies Night Of Celebration
After a hugely successful and trophy laden 2013 for Belturbet Ladies Football Club, a night of presentations will take place for both the underage and senior teams on Friday the 27th of December in The Seven Horseshoes. A buffet supper followed by dancing with Ian Pickens followed by disco. A great night out for anyone this festive season. Condolences
The club wishes to extend their sympathies to Jim, Kieran and Margaret Rehill on the death of their brother Matt from Kiltale, Co.Meath last week and to his wife Phyll and her children and to all the extended family. We also extend our sympathies to his nieces and nephews with Padraic who is a Senior Belturbet player and David and Maeve also. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.

Night at the Dogs
The Club are hosting a dog racing night which will take place on Saturday January 25th in Dundalk Stadium. More details to follow in the coming weeks.
