U17 BOYS
U17 first league game on Saturday v Bailieborough. A very strong and impressive start to the season with a convincing win and promising performance from everyone. We held our shape and kept the score board ticking over from the first whistle to the last. Next game is on Sunday away to Killygarry at 12.30pm. Training in Cross on Wednesday at 7pm
U21 BOYS
Our U21 players played in their second game of the newly formed league in Mullagh on Saturday. Our young U21 team started brightly by scoring an excellent goal and point and creating another 2 more goal chances in the first five minutes. An impressive and older Denn team eventually showed why they got to last years U20 Division 2 final and won easily in a scoreline 2;21 to 2;5. The value of this competition was demonstrated again by the passion shown by the large number of players who enjoyed playing in another competitive league game. This can only help to further develop the playing base in all clubs who have entered a team in this competition. Our next game is an away game against our near neighbours Killinkere on Sunday.
U13 BOYS
Our U13 boys have started back training with the league commencing in early April.
Next training session

Mullagh Sports Partnership Development:
We are delighted to announce that Stage 1 of our development has been completed. Thank you to our local contractors Stephen Anderson and Ronan Doughty for their guidance and professional help. Sincere thanks to Paul Taite for his tireless work in providing his professional leadership and to our site manager, Oliver Larney .
Much of our funds from the I'm a Celebrity fundraiser have been carefully invested into completing Stage 1 our of project. This has involved the leveling of our site in preparation for the commencement of Stage 2. We are awaiting confirmation on the relocation of an ESB substation on the Mullagh town side of our site. This is essential to accommodate our proposed plans.
We will soon be commencing the tendering process for the development of a new adult pitch. We would plan to commence work this Spring and have this pitch ready for action in the Summer of 2020.
The planning for a biodiversity walkway around the perimeter of the site is under consideration. We have successfully passed the 'expression of interest' stage of application to the Leader Fund. We are planning to engage a consultant in developing a feasibility study for this exciting project. We are very appreciative of the expert assistance we have received from Daphne Shackleton.
You will be able to view aerial images of the site via our social media and website soon.
