March 26, 2012Scór News: Congratulations to Tráth na gCeist team of Brian Doyle, Tommy McGibney and Michael Dinnenny who were victorious in
Scór Sinseár Ulster Final on Saturday last in St Cecilias College , Derry City. They will now represent Ulster in the All Ireland Final in Killarney on 21st April.
Monster Bingo : The community of Kinawely are trying hard to raise money to match fund in their small community of Kinawley ( near Swanlinbar) in the hope of building a much needed cross community facility/hall and while they are working hard, there is still a way to go. Bingo has a great following and the large jackpot seems to attract a crowd as well as give some form of entertainment to everyone. The comfort of the Slieve Russell and the round table seating is a great attraction also. There will be Fund raising Bingo in the SLIEVE RUSSELL on SUNDAY 1st APRIL at 3PM €6000 euro in prizes. €3000 euro MUST GO! Spot prizes galore with free tickets on the back of each book sold. Come early and get a round table seating and sit back in comfort.... In aid of Kinawley Community Hall Association.
Whist : The next Whist Drive takes place on Monday the 2nd of April in McSeain's. Refreshments and Tea served. All Welcome!
SOCIAL DANCE : in Lavey Community Centre (to finish up the classes) on Tuesday 3rd April 9.30 pm til 12.00. Music by Showbud. Refreshments served. Admission €10. All welcome for a great night of music, dance and craic.
Lotto : There was no winner of this weeks lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 9, 12, 18 and 19. The €40 winners were Karen McDermot-Munnelly; Kieran Macklin, Cornafean; Mia Leddy, Drumambry; John Kilesnan, Killeshandra; Martin Shannon, Killeshandra. Next weeks jackpot is €5700. Tweet
