Christmas Cards : Christmas cards whose illustration were drawn by Primary School pupils from Cornafean are now on sale in the Village Foodstore Crossdoney and McSeain Shop.

Barn Dance : Cornafean GFC are running a Barn dance on Monday the 27th December in McSeains Saloon Bar. Music by Ian Pickens followed by a western themed disco. On the night there will be bucking bronco, line dancing, King and Queen of the dance. Cowboy hats available on the night.

Congratulations : Best wishes and congratulations to Barry and Rosie Sheridan Drumcrow on the birth of their twin boys.
Lotto : There was no winner of this weeks lotto jackpot. Next weeks jackpot is €5400. The numbers drawn were 6, 22, 24 and 27. JUNIOR SCOR SUCCESS Last Friday night 10th December was the venue for the Ulster-Semi Finals of Scor na Nog. Cornafean were represented in 3 items - James Cartwright Recitation Thomas Hughes Solo Singing and Ballad Group of Deirbhile McCaffrey, Shauna McCaffrey, Lynn O'Reilly, Finuala Cullen and Thomas Hughes. Cornafean were successful in taking the honours and beating stiff opposition from Monaghan and Armagh in the Ballad Group Section and go on to represent their Club and County in the Ulster Final in Silverbridge on January 15th 2011. Congratulations to James Cartwright and Thomas Hughes who gave great performances and represented their Club very well but were not successful on the day.
