2022 Higher Education Championships draws take place

The Higher Education Championships draws will be held live from IT Carlow - which is hosting the finals - this afternoon.
The third level championships, including the blue riband Sigerson and Fitzgibbon Cups, will get underway next month after being cancelled in 2021 due to Covid.
The panel lists for the 2022 Sigerson and Fitzgibbon Cup have been released and include some of the top footballers and hurlers in the country. One of the biggest names is recently-crowned Hurler of the Year Cian Lynch, who will line out with NUIG where he is completing a Masters Degree.
