The 2017 Independent.ie HE GAA Sigerson Championship Weekend will be hosted by Comhairle Ardoideachais Connachta in the Connacht GAA Centre in Bekan, Mayo on February 17-18, 2017.

This is the first time that the weekend has been hosted by anyone other than a third level institute, however volunteers will be students attending the third level institutes within the province - NUIG, the GMIT colleges, Sligo IT & Westport CFE.

The Connacht GAA Centre is a fantastic facility which boasts 5 grass pitches, 1 4G pitch and 8 dressing rooms so will be a perfect venue to host the weekend's fare.
