A group calling itself the United Islamic Cyber Force has hacked the Kildare GAA website.
The Lilywhites' homepage has been replaced with a paragraph in red font on a black background under the heading "United Islamic Cyber Force, Jabhatul Nursa Baaqiyah". It is accompanied by a song, which is in Arabic.
Apparently, this type of website defacement hasn't been unusual in the past few years, especially with the rise of militant groups in the Middle East. The attack on the Kildare GAA website comes ahead of the county's crucial Allianz Football League encounter with Galway in Tuam this afternoon.
