Former Dublin footballer Declan Lally has denied reports linking him with a move to London.

It was reported earlier this week that the St. Brigid's clubman had joined the Exiles, but he has dismissed this by saying: "I'm in London studying for my primary school teaching qualification. Nothing else."

Lally won an All-Ireland under 21 medal with the Dubs in 2003 and was part of their senior set-up until 2008 when he travelled to Australia and then on to the US. London have already secured the services of Carlow's Derek Hayden, Eamonn McGee from Donegal, Westmeath's Brian Smyth and Leitrim midfielder Gary McCloskey this year. Tweet
