Brothers Pearse claimed their 13th London senior hurling championship title with a 1-17 to 1-16 victory over Sean Treacys in Ruislip, thanks to Malcolm Flannery’s dramatic injury-time winner.
Mark Kilgannon’s goal helped Pearse trail by just two points at half-time, 0-11 to 1-6, before Sean Treacys moved closer to ending their 24-year wait for the title.
Treacys looked poised for victory when Michael Roche scored a goal to put them five points clear, but Paul Kennedy led Pearse’s comeback with four unanswered points to level the match in injury-time.
With seconds remaining, Flannery landed a spectacular long-range winner to seal victory and break Sean Treacys' hearts.
The dramatic win marks Brothers Pearse’s first SHC success since 2023.
