Erne Gaels Belleek secured a third Fermanagh senior football championship title in-a-row thanks to a commanding 1-21 to 1-12 win over Derrygonnelly Harps at Brewster Park this afternoon.

Ultan Kelm starred with 1-7 over the hour, as Barry O’Hagan’s men raced into a 1-9 to 0-0 lead before the Harps rallied to trail by six at half-time.

Dan McCann’s two-pointer added to Belleek’s early dominance, while Derrygonnelly responded through goalkeeper Jack Kelly’s two-point free and scores from Gary McKenna and Oisín Smyth.

The holders reasserted control after the restart, with Kelm’s two-point free stretching the lead to 1-17 to 0-10 before a bizarre own goal briefly raised Harps hopes.

The Belleek side saw out the contest to secure a third consecutive New York Cup and fifth in their history.
