Castleknock booked their place in the Dublin senior football championship final after a thrilling 0-26 to 3-12 win over Thomas Davis at Parnell Park this evening.

John Vahey got Castleknock off to a strong start with two two-point frees, while Rob Shaw, Senan Forker, Conor Chawke and Lenny Cahill also contributed as they built a 0-13 to 1-8 half-time lead.

Thomas Davis fought back strongly, with Chris Sallier scoring before Seán Farrelly and Adam Waddick added second-half goals to put their side in front.

Castleknock responded superbly when it mattered most, with substitute Ger McDermottroe making a major impact with five points. Chawke, Shaw, Eoin Sawyer and Cian Boyle also added scores as they regained control.

The victory sends Castleknock into their first SFC final in the capital since 2016, while the second semi-final takes place tomorrow between holders Ballyboden St Endas and Cuala at 4pm to determine their opponents in the decider.
