Crosserlough draw Gowna in Cavan SFC semi-final repeat

Crosserlough and Gowna have been paired together in the Cavan SFC semi-final draw.

Both teams enjoyed comfortable quarter-final victories over Mullahoran and Ramor United respectively last weekend. The sides also met at the last-four stage last year when Gowna ran out 2-16 to 2-11 winners.

The other semi-final will be contested by holders Kingscourt Stars and the winners of the Killygarry v Cuchulainns quarter-final replay. The sides drew 1-21 apiece in what was the game of the weekend in the Breffni County.

Cian Shekelton’s 39th minute goal proved decisive in Kingscourt’s 1-13 to 0-10 victory over Cavan Gaels.

The dates for the quarter-final replay and the semi-finals still have to be confirmed.
