Paudie Clifford insists Kerry have a lot of improving to do ahead of the All-Ireland SFC final against Mayo.

The Kingdom will go into the July 26 decider as strong favourites to retain the Sam Maguire, but Clifford feels they have plenty to work on after coming through a huge test from Dublin.

“Dublin won a good few breaks and they got a few slow plays – and in fairness, great scores,” the man of the match told RTÉ.

“We knew what they were capable of and we were probably lucky to get the goal at the time we got it. But thankfully we did and we were able to push on from there.

“We felt we improved in some areas. We probably conceded too much against Tyrone (in the quarter-final). But we still have a lot to improve on for Mayo in two weeks. So we just can’t wait to get back Tuesday night now and get back at it.”
