Armagh recorded their second win of this year’s Ulster senior football championship in emphatic fashion this evening as they saw off Fermanagh by 2-32 to 1-24 in Enniskillen.
Having defeated Tyrone after extra time two weeks ago, Kieran McGeeney’s side dominated for long spells against the Ernesiders in this one to progress through to the last four of the Anglo-Celt Cup race.
After running up a 0-9 to 0-2 lead inside the opening 20 minutes, the Orchard men increased their advantage with a two-point free from ‘keeper Ethan Rafferty ahead of sailing over points via Jarlath Og Burns, Tiernan Kelly and former Footballer of the Year Oisin Conaty.
It got worse for the home side when Jason Duffy’s palmed goal made it 1-15 to 0-4 ahead of Ross McQuillan’s two-pointer closing out the first-half.

The visitors sent over the first three points of the restart to widen the margin to 19 points before Darragh McGurn sent over a two-pointer for Declan Bonner’s men.
That score would be wiped out by a Conor Turbitt goal in the 42nd minute, but McGurn found his range again and would go on to finish with a personally tally of 1-12.
The full-forward’s fourth two-pointer of the half helped to raise the hosts’ tally to 0-16 ahead of Conor O’Hanlon and Brandon Horan raising orange flags down the home stretch and McGurn bagging a terrific goal on 70 minutes.
Burns sailed over Armagh’s 31st point of the evening in response, with McGurn shooting his last from beyond the arc and Conaty registering his fifth to close out the 11-point win which sees McGeeney’s men up against either Donegal or Down in the northern province’s semi-finals in eight days' time.
