Victories tonight for Fermanagh over Laois in Division Three and London against Carlow in Division Four.

First-half goals from Darragh McGurn and Luke Flanagan propelled Fermanagh to a 2-13 to 1-14 win over 14-man Laois in Enniskillen.

It’s Fermanagh’s first points of the campaign and thus they remain in real relegation peril, while defeat means Laois are no longer in contention for promotion to the second division.

Meanwhile, Liam Murphy's second-half goal was the key score as London stormed to a magnificent 1-20 to 0-18 victory over table-toppers Carlow at Dr Cullen Park.

This is a damaging defeat for the Barrowsiders who looked to be cruising to promotion after four successive wins before losing to Longford last weekend.

There’s now a pile-up at the top of the Division Four table, with Longford, Tipperary, Wicklow and London all hot on Carlow’s heels.
